Canfield, Madden & Ruggiero, LLP is a boutique law firm that provides superior counsel to and advocacy of those engaged in the construction industry. 

Our Firm strives to support our clients in every aspect of their business ... during the pre-construction, contract formation period; during contract performance phase; and during the post-contract, dispute resolution periods. We recognize that every client who is seeking the advice of an attorney has individual needs and goals. We pride ourselves on taking the time to listen and understand what is most important to each and every person who seeks our advice. We also take whatever time is necessary to discuss and explore the realistic possibilities for the outcome of the client's matter, whether it is a dispute that requires litigation or one that might be resolved in a non-adversarial process.  We never exaggerate the value of a claim or underestimate the cost of representation just to convince a person to hire us.

The Firm has concentrated in the practice of construction law since its inception in 1981.  We represent owners, developers, sureties, general contractors, subcontractors, fabricators, suppliers, and design professionals in support of public and private construction, and through that representation we have gained credibility among our peers and a reputation for strong capability for our clients.

The Firm has and will provide like services for businesses engaged in other industries, but is uniformly focused upon business counsel, contract formation and compliance, and dispute resolution.
